HOW WAS THE TOOLKIT MADE?

ConnectED on The Journey has been developed through online and in-person co-design workshops with people with lived experience of receiving and/or providing online support. Workshops helped identify core needs the toolkit should seek to address before, during and after online support sessions.

WHAT WAS BEFORE?

ConnectED plugs the gap in there being little or no information about how to get the most out of existing online tools and platforms when it comes to remote support for eating disorders / distress. People who we have talked to as part of our research have said that this was missing and much needed.

WHAT CO- MEANS?

Co-design has meant that people with lived experiences, researchers and designers have worked together to make this toolkit. By sharing our experiences, ideas for resources, and troubleshooting actual scenarios, we want to bring some fresh, new ideas to support you to get the most out of the online support experience.
